I am a Northern California native, transplanted up into beautiful Washington. I graduated from Chico State University to become a PE teacher and substitute elementary teacher, only to be able to switch my profession and use my knowledge when I became a mother. Now I am trying to raise our growing brood of two (and four) legged babies to be the well rounded and respectful future generation we need. I am a cannabis and CBD enthusiast and activist for a plethora of reasons-personal and professional, and I incorporate them into my personal repertoire of routines. I love making things myself and staying healthy by natural means. This blog is where I have decided to share all my knowledge, recipes, tools, tricks, tips and resources that I have amassed over the years. My hope is that it can maybe help ease a worrying mother's mind.. or fill that belly with some delicious healthy food... or just give you a laugh.

Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.

It’s been 3 years since I left him and I should have left sooner. No one should have to rationalize their relationship as ‘not that bad’….. the abuse only gets worse over time. Now my children and I can live freely and not walk on egg shells.

I’m still fighting him in court-he won’t sign the papers or offer new terms to date but …. I have never been happier living my best life being my authentic self. And in healing and finding myself, I found love again.

So slowly yet surely I’m getting back in this groove. Been adding a few more recipes with pictures. Thinking about writing a cookbook🤔 anywho….. Im going to be adding more here. Life is no less chaotic or stressful but I’m moving through 🫡

How would you improve your community?

Our little feral farm family has decided to try to do this recently in our neighborhood. Posting a silly kid joke at our crazy 3 way traffic intersection. Getting folks to not just slow down and stop but hopefully smile too.

What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?

5am wake up, then ice water to the face to wake my sleepy a$$ up😴followed by getting rid of my morning dragon breath… then it’s water and vitamins while checking emails and stretching …. followed up by packing 4 gremlin lunches, before it’s off for my morning rounds-check on dogs, garden, & cats before getting my butt back to make breakfast for my four gremlins and wake the sleeping beasts for school. Without that little ‘me’ break it might seem daunting 😜

Not a lot of posting ….

I haven’t been posting too much because well life had been kind of kicking my a$$… I do have some new recipes I’m loving i need to post and my beautiful gremlins…. one more in double digits😵I’ll make a legit post this weekend with some full updates.

Just know divorcing a narcissist still SUCKS!🙃
